R410a / Puron
The air conditioning industry has CHANGED OVER to the new freon effective Jan 1 2010 the old freon R22 is what's in 95% of all DFW homes and businesses. These systems will have to be converted at some point, because effective DEC 31 2009 R22 equipment will no longer be manufactured.
THIS IS THE END OF R22 AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS.
R410 AND R22 FREON AND EQUIPMENT ARE NOT COMPATIBLE
WHICH MEANS IF YOUR INDOOR FAILS YOU WILL HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR INDOOR AND OUTDOOR SECTION , AND SAME FOR A OUTDOOR SECTION FAILURE ,THE INDOOR SECTION WILL HAVE TO BE CHANGED ALSO.
