THE ONLY MANUFACTURED NEW OR REPLACEMENT AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT FROM NOW ON WILL BE PURON OR R410A FREON UNITS DUEL RATED COILS = IS A COIL THAT HAS BEEN TESTED FOR BOTH R22 OR PURON AND R410A FREON USE. THESE HAVE ONLY BEEN MANUFACTURED FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS AND WILL BE LABELED ON THE COIL ID TAG, AS APPROVED FOR R22 OR R410A. IF YOU ARE CONFUSED, CALL AND WE WILL TRY TO INFORM YOU AS TO WHAT THE RECOMMENDED REPAIR PROCEDURES ARE . FREON EQUIPMENT. MANUFACTURER'S REPRESENTATIVES ARE TELLING US THAT LEFTOVER R 22 EQUIPMENT STOCK WILL BE DEPLETED BY THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2010. SOME MANUFACTURER'S HAVE ALREADY SOLD OUT OF R 22 FREON EQUIPMENT. SO ANY NEW OR REPLACEMENT UNITS WILL HAVE TO BE PURON OR R 410A SYSTEMS , ONLY BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONLY THING THAT WILL BE AVAILABLE AS A REPLACEMENT OR NEW SYSTEM.

DO TO HIGH CONSUMER COMPLAINTS AND HIGH COST OF R410A UPGRADES SEVERAL MANUFACTURES HAVE DEVISED A WAY TO GET AROUND THE NEW LAW BY SHIPPING R22 NEW CONDENSING UNITS DRY. MEANING THEY ARE SHIPPING R22 OUTSIDE UNITS WITHOUT ANY FREON IN THEM. THIS WILL ALLOW YOU TO REPLACE YOU OUTSIDE AC UNIT WITHOUT DOING A FULL CONVERSION. GUEST WHAT THE PRICES ARE HIGH AND YOU WILL HAVE TO ADD THE COST OF A FREON CHARGE AFTER THE INSTALL OF THESE UNITS. WE HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE AS TO HOW LONG THERE DRY AC UNITS WILL BE AVAILABLE.
